I can’t wait to read your book in its entirety. Your writing is always so honest, and does what great works always do, which is transport to another dimension. These questions asked by the reviewer are intriguing and I wonder what your answers might be.
Hi Cristina! Thank you. Greatly appreciated as always. This book is from a cycle of four novels which contain the same protagonist. They're set in the 90s and it mainly deals with a young man named 'Julio'. They're drawn from the peer group and 'scene' I was hanging around with at the time but the stories are not autobiographical. They cover differing themes but though each one can be read separately as 'stand alone' novels, taken together they form a whole. A lot of it is old now, written in the late 90s. Many of the characters and situations are dysfunctional, for sure, but that was a reflection of the times and most definitely that particular peer group. It's hard to get into all the themes these books cover but they are aimed at a particular audience, those who went through this particular time and experiences. I appreciate you taking an interest in them, and if you ever want to discuss them, or anything else, feel free. I welcome your thoughts. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and a very Merry Christmas. 🙏
